Sunshine

I got some great comments with advice and encouragement from my last post! Thank you, and fear not, I'm not crumbling under the pressures of mommy-dom. I have my moments, they usually occur when my when my number of REM cycles per night is low. :) But in general I've never been so happy or felt so complete. This is hard, but incredible. Amazing. Wouldn't trade it for anything, ever. I love my Sol because he really is that, my Sunshine.loves, loves, loves.

Hey pretty megan. I'm SO PROUD of you for being real on your blog. My babies weren't right away sleepers through the night at ALL (11+ months for both of them, as you read on the blog) and I remember hitting a wall for SURE once the first newborn bliss had passed and I realized just how TIRED I was. All I can tell you is that IT'S NOT YOUR FAULT, and i think you're the bomb for not pretending everything is fine and perfect.

the cool thing, though, is that you still love the little turkeys, even if they don't sleep great. thank heavens for cute babies, and motherly love.

for Zane, the solution was turning on a loud fan. for annie, there was no solution. just healing after a bunch of nasty transitions and a stressed out mommy. and time. she wants to be like her brother in every other way, so why not wait until 11 months just because? :)

and that Sol IS so freakin' cute. I totally agree. you got a good one.

I can't remember why I first wanted to leave a comment. I might be back after I figure it out. :)

Meg, i love you. like your friend said, thank you for being so REAL. i can relate to you in every possible way. i mean, just think back to that night at your house a few weeks ago...not much has changed :) maybe the heavens gave us both crying, alert, NON TIRED babies so that we could help each other through it. i think of you all the time- and seeing you do it (and everything else you do) gives me hope and makes me believe I CAN DO THIS, too.

i put the quote on my fridge too..."come what may, and love it." so, tonight, it's 10:08...i'm tired...but, come what may.... (eek). love you, friend.

Hi Megan!
This is Gelsey Klein (Polson). Your little Sol is adorable! My sister set up a blog for me a few months ago and I remembered talking to you at the Mandarin about yours. I found you through the grapevine... hope you don't mind! It is fun seeing what you are up to. I can relate to your sleep struggles!
