I don't have much to write about so...
Yes those are purple slouch socks with orange double tongue shoes (remember those!)
Yes I'm holding my first firearm, a Red Rider BB gun.
I was 10 and couldn't have been more thrilled.
I was kind of a tomboy.
I still have the gun, just in case any robins or groundhogs decide to invade our home and attack.
Its for protection.
Hope you enjoyed the flashback.

Good news though... according to the sweet little crocuses that bloomed in my garden this week,
spring is on the way!

Reality Bites
Dave is working at home today (bless him for that) and we're watching a classic from 1994, Reality Bites. And then I was just reading my friends blog and she was saying that often times we blog with an aire of perfections, we dwell on the highlights, which is generally quite uplifting and makes it more fun to read, but sometimes it be just a little nausiating. So for all of you out there who are feeling a little nausiated you've found the right blog to give you just a bit of relief. :)
Often times reality bites. Its cool, its why were here. But I hate being sick. I rarely get sick and when I do I usually get over it in a day or two. But this time I got sick, and then I felt worse, and then worse, and then a bit better (sunny day yesterday helped), and then really bad. I think I have an ear infection and a sinus infection. Thankfully my G&G W supply me with cheap anitbiotics from Mexico so I had some on hand and I think its helping. yay! But none the less, my cupboards are empty, my house is kind of a mess (not too bad thanks to Dave) and my hair is pretty scary. I hate not being on top of things, and thats what being sick does to me. It slows me down qutie a bit and its frustrating. I tell myself I should just enjoy this couch potato time but I keep thinking about all the things that need to be done that are passing me by. Ah well, reality bites sometimes.
P.S. In 9th grade I learned every word to "Stay" by Lisa Loeb by listening to the soundtrack to this movie on repeat. I never saw the movie when I was young but somehow got my hands on the soundtrack and wore it out. "You say..."
